I’ve been looking into auto dialers for our small outbound team, and honestly the legal side confused me more than the technical part. At first I thought it’s either “allowed” or “banned,” but turns out it’s not that simple at all. While reading this breakdown https://www.mightycall.com/blog/are-auto-dialers-illegal/ I realized auto dialers themselves are not illegal, but there are a lot of strict rules around how you use them. For example, you usually need consent before calling mobile numbers, you have to respect time windows, and you can’t call people on Do Not Call lists.

I don’t work in call centers, but I deal with internal systems, and IVR feels like a classic automation trade-off. You reduce manual work, but you need good structure.
