The Clifton House's mission is to continue the legacy of acclaimed poet Lucille Clifton and community activist Fred Clifton through mentorship, resource sharing, training, and skill development in the creative arts. We continue to achieve and build upon this mission via our programatic offers – hands on poetry workshops, readings, "First Films" film events, BEAMS children and family programming.
